By the road that runs along the northern slope of the High Atlas, we reach the city of Azilal. From Aït Mhamed, the road crosses a lunar plateau where nomads graze their camels.

This is the day of the reward, that of the descent of the Ouzighimt Valley, a wonderful valley. We walk along the river, on the left bank. In a valley that is unique in its kind, because its inhabitants stand out from other Berbers from other valleys, especially women with their hair styles and costumes.

We cross several Berber villages, then have lunch by the river, then we continue our crossing to the village of Ifkirn.

After a good breakfast, we continue to explore this valley at the end of the world. Today we are certain to cross water, sometimes cold with a strong current. Bring sneakers or sandals to walk in the water.

Very beautiful day in a totally wild environment and cut off from the outside world.

Day in the most beautiful and spectacular gorges of the High Atlas. Two to three hours of crossing in the water, not always strong, but several passages in the water. For a moment when the gorges are narrow, we stay in the often refreshing cold water; at the exit we will be invited by our cook to have a hot tea at the Ain Ifsfas spring. We camp near the village Tiranimine (1830 m).

Short hour of stroll and discovery to reach the village of Aguerezkka where we will find our car which will take us back to Marrakech.

Visit Ait Benhadou on the way back before crossing the Tizi n Tichka pass and going down to Marrakech.
