Embodying Authenticity Over Trends

Built in the high mountain valley of Aït Bougmez at an altitude of 2220m, in the unique style of the valley, Touda Ecolodge combines authenticity and modernity. Its family management guarantees you a welcome in the true Amazigh hospitality tradition, hosted by locals who will share their authentic knowledge of customs and traditions.

A name with meaning

Touda is a female Amazigh name, chosen as a tribute to Saïd's (the founder) mother. In Amazigh culture, the man is traditionally the protector of the family, while the woman is the pillar, the symbol of the warmth of the home and the one who is responsible for honouring the family’s heritage and passing these important traditions down to her children. Our ecolodge therefore bears a female name, paying homage to women’s essential place in Amazigh culture and their central role in family and community life.

The rooms

The spirit of touda

At Touda, an ecolodge nestled in the heart of the High Atlas, one does not come to stay locked  in rooms. Here, luxury is measured differently: in simplicity, essential comfort, and the  untouched natural beauty that surrounds us.

Our rooms were intentionally designed to be sober and minimalist: a comfortable bed, a pleasant shower, and everything necessary to feel good, without excess or unnecessary distractions. At Touda, true comfort is waking up facing the mountains, breathing  fresh air, and reconnecting with nature.
