The Valley

An authentic stay in the Happy Valley of Aït Bougmez

Diving into the Aït Bougmez valley is like signing up for a journey back in time. At Touda, located at the foot of Mount Azourki at an altitude of 2200 meters, you will experience the annual cycle of renewal to the magical rhythm of blossoming apple trees and melting snow. Getting here is, if not an adventure, at least an acceptance that the place must be earned, and that at the ends of the earth, all is Amazigh calm and serenity.

A week in touda

We spent a week in Touda with 3 teenagers and 1 child. Ahmed offered us activities every day: hiking, swimming in the gorges, market, visits to the villages of the valley. Nejma cooked us good food every day. The rooms are very nice and the view of the cottage is beautiful. The pool is also very nice! We hope to return soon.

The beauty of the happy valley.

Touda Ecolodge is a gem! The location is unbeatable, it welcomes and grounds you wholeheartedly. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. I felt instantly at home. The guides Mouhamed and Omar were great, and made sure that guests feel at ease and can enjoy their holiday in the best possible way in a Berber calm and kind manner. This is a special place and valley to remember.

Wonderful stay in Touda Ecolodge

Our stay in the happy valley is our most beautiful memory of our trip to Morocco! We were extremely well received by the Touda team, our room was very nice with the view of the valley, and what about meals and breakfast? They were delicious! Really we felt at home and it was a little sadness to leave.
