Welcome at the airport and transfer to your riad in Marrakech.
Dinner on your own.
Overnight in a riad.
Taking the road along the northern slopes of the High Atlas, we reach the town of Azilal. From Aït Mhamed, the track crosses a mineral plateau where nomads graze their camels. Arrival and welcome at Touda, located in the village of Zawyat Oulmzi (2200 m), where you will settle in for the week.
Dinner and overnight at Touda.
Departure on foot amidst the crops (observation of the irrigation system, meetings with farmers) to reach the village of Ifrane (2020 m). Via the Aqqa n’Oulzouay, we reach the ridge line of Jebel Azzaden (2450 m).
Descent into an ancient juniper forest to the village of Rbat (1935 m), where we picnic in the shade of walnut trees.
Passage through Ibakliwne to discover a site of dinosaur footprints, followed by a visit to the water mills of Aït Imi village.
Return to Touda from Tabant.
5h 30 walking – Ascent: 350 m – Descent: 725 m.
Par les gorges d’Aït Ouham, vous débutez votre ascension vers le plateau d’Izourar (2525 m), ancien lieu de rencontre des nomades Aït Atta lors des transhumances.Retour à Touda par un sentier panoramique dominant la vallée et traversant une forêt de genévriers.
Dîner et nuit à Touda.
5 h de marche – M = D : 500 m.
Hiking departure between fields and villages. Lunch with a Berber family in the village of Aït Ouchi.
Return to Touda, traditional Hammam in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at Touda.
Departure by vehicle (1h30) to the Aït Bouwli valley. Possible meeting with wood artisans (making walnut dishes) and the last potters of the High Atlas. Visit to one of the best weaving cooperatives in the region.
Return to Touda.
Dinner and overnight at Touda.
Return road to Marrakech. Stop at the Ouzoud Waterfalls for a guided walk and possible observation of Barbary macaques. Lunch on site.
